FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How many sessions of energetic healing are required?
A: It depends on the healing modality. In some cases one treatment may be enough, however, we suggest 3-5 as a guide so that you can monitor changes over time.

Q: Do I discontinue medications prescribed by my Doctor?
A: Energy Medicine is a complimentary medicine practice. We want you to continue taking your medication and undergoing treatments prescribed by your physician. Our modalities and procedures are non-invasive and complimentary to conventional medications, medical tests and procedures. All clients are encouraged to inform their physician, or other appropriate healthcare professional, of their attendance at Energy Medicine so that their health status can be monitored and other prescribed treatments and medications can be effectively integrated and managed.

Q: What is Bio-energetic Medicine?
A: This term refers to screening techniques and therapies that use an energy field. The properties of biological energy, which can be measured with bio-energetic devices are, temperature, mass, volume, chemical, pressure, mechanical and electrical. While this area of health care can include equipment ranging from a simple thermometer through to x-rays, at CEM we only use safe, non-ionising equipment designed to enhance your quality of life.

Q: Are there any after effects to treatments?
A: Generally not, except feeling better of course.

Q: Do you offer discounts for multiple sessions?
A: Each practitioner must be approached individually regarding prices and discounts. Most practitioners charge a lower fee for follow up appointments.

Q: Are pensioners entitled to a discount?
A: See the above point.

Q: Do you accept credit card payments?
A: While cash is preferred, several practitioners have credit card facilities (Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard only). Ask the individual practitioner when you book the appointment with them

Q: How much notice of changes to appointments is required?
A: At least 24 hours. It is really important to advise us of changes – if you can’t attend, it frees up the appointment for another client.

Q: Are you located just at Crows Nest?
A: Different practitioners are available at Crows Nest on different days. Please see information on the individual practitioner for their availability and clinic locations.
